Yogyakarta, August 28, 2025 — A total of 39 students from the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), were officially graduated in the Undergraduate and Diploma Graduation Ceremony for Period IV of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, which was held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Grha Sabha Pramana, UGM.
This graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone, signifying the culmination of the students’ studies and the commencement of their journey to contribute to society as competent, adaptable, and agripreneurial graduates. The presence of parents, lecturers, and the academic community added to the solemnity of the event, which was also filled with messages of motivation and appreciation for the achievements of the graduates.
In this list of graduates, there is an inspiring figure, Kyla Chandrika Perwitasari, who deserves special attention. Kyla completed her studies at the age of 20 years and 11 months, making her the youngest graduate in the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM for this period. This remarkable achievement reflects her high enthusiasm for learning, discipline, and excellent time management. Kyla’s success is a source of motivation for other students to continue pursuing their academic goals effectively and efficiently.

The Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program is committed to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Graduates are expected to play an active role in building an inclusive, efficient, and sustainable agricultural and agribusiness system to improve farmers’ welfare and national and global food security.
The Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program expresses its pride in the achievements of its graduates, as well as its hope that the knowledge they have acquired will serve as a foundation for building a more equitable agricultural and agribusiness system that has a positive impact on society at large.
