Yogyakarta, November 12, 2025 — The Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Program (EPA) of the Faculty of Agriculture at UGM received a visit from the Agribusiness Program of Andalas University. The purpose of this visit was to conduct a comparative study related to preparations for applying for ASIIN international accreditation, as well as to strengthen academic relations between institutions.

During the meeting, the UGM EPA Team shared their experiences, strategies, and best practices in obtaining ASIIN accreditation, including preparing the Self Assessment Report (SAR) documents, strengthening the learning outcomes-based curriculum, strengthening the internal quality assurance system, and preparing for the site visit. The discussion was interactive, with both parties exchanging experiences and challenges encountered in internationalizing their study programs.

Through this activity, both study programs aim to improve educational quality, expand academic networks, and positively impact learning management in line with international standards.

This activity also contributes to the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) through improvements in higher education quality, SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between educational institutions, and to internationalization efforts that promote more relevant and globally standardized learning quality.
