Acreditation
We are proud to announce that the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program has successfully achieved accreditation from ASIIN in 2022-2028. This accreditation is the result of our collective dedication and hard work. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Hopefully, this success will be the first step towards higher achievements. With this accreditation, the EPA study program is increasingly prepared to provide quality education to future generations.
In order to be recognized at the international level as a study program that applies global quality standards, on March 21-23 2022, an online visitation activity for ASIIN International Accreditation was carried out for the Bachelor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University. ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathemati k) is an international accreditation institution from Germany for the disciplines of engineering, mathematics and science, agriculture and biology. Bachelor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, along with four other study programs, namely Bachelor of Agronomy, Bachelor of Soil Science, Bachelor of Aquaculture, and Bachelor in Aquatic Resources Management, participated in visitation activities as part of the ASIIN accreditation series. The visit was carried out for three days and began with presenting the ranks of the rectorate and deans, departments, and study programs. Representatives of educators and students attended the second day of the visit. The visit ended on the third day with presenting partners and presentations on infrastructure from the three study programs. International accreditation assessment emphasizes the standardization of graduates’ abilities by evaluating the achievement of study program results set by the accreditation agency.
