Yogyakarta, August 28, 2025 — Another proud achievement has been made by Nazla Amanda Kamila, a student of the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Undergraduate Program, who won the title of Best Graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, at the Undergraduate and Diploma Graduation Ceremony for Period IV of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. With a cumulative GPA of 3.98, Nazla demonstrated her dedication and consistency in pursuing her studies in agricultural economics.
During her time at the Faculty of Agriculture, Nazla was known as an active, diligent, and highly dedicated individual, both in academic activities and student organizations. Her commitment to agribusiness and agricultural economics was reflected in various research projects, participation in scientific forums, and her involvement in community empowerment programs based on sustainable agriculture.
In her touching and inspiring speech, Nazla Amanda Kamila expressed her gratitude for the achievements of all graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture. She invited everyone present to reflect on the long journey since the beginning of their studies—from the online PPSMB as new students, challenging practicums, to finally completing their theses. For Nazla, graduation day is not just a celebration of graduation, but a symbol of struggle, consistency, and success in overcoming obstacles one by one.
Nazla emphasized that this success was not achieved alone. She expressed her deep appreciation to the entire academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, the lecturers, educators, and administrative staff for their unwavering guidance and support. She also expressed her respect and gratitude to her parents and family, who have been a source of strength and support, as well as to her fellow students who have shared their enthusiasm for campus life.

Nazla encouraged graduates to continue learning, adapting, and becoming useful individuals. She emphasized that a bachelor’s degree is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new and challenging chapter, and invited all Faperta graduates to continue to carry the values of UGM—”Locally Rooted, Globally Respected”—in every step of their future lives.
She closed her speech with a quote from BJ Habibie:
“Success does not belong to smart people. Success belongs to those who always try.”
With great enthusiasm, Nazla encouraged all graduates to strive to be the best version of themselves and to uphold the good name of the Faculty of Agriculture wherever destiny takes them.
Nazla’s achievements also reflect the contribution of the Faculty of Agriculture at Gadjah Mada University in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goals 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Graduates like Nazla are expected to be the driving force for change towards a more inclusive, efficient, and equitable agribusiness system.
Congratulations to Nazla Amanda Kamila and all graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM. May this achievement be the beginning of real contributions in building a more sustainable and dignified future for Indonesian agriculture.
