Yogyakarta, May 12, 2025 – Keluarga Mahasiswa Soisal Ekonomi Pertanian (KMSEP), Department of Agricultural Socioeconomics (SOSEK) UGM successfully organized Jogjajanan 2025, a biennial event anticipated by students, alums, and the general public. At Pancasila Field UGM, the event was lively and energetic, combining creative competitions, culinary bazaars, interactive entertainment, and a spectacular music concert that aroused the enthusiasm of visitors from all walks of life.
✨ EPA’s “Golden” Stand: Fun, Informative, and Full of Prizes!
One of the highlights of Jogjajanan 2025 was participating in the Agricultural Economics Study Program (EPA), which enlivened the event by opening an interactive stand with the theme “Golden”. To introduce itself to the broader community, the Agricultural Economics Study Program (EPA) also enlivened Jogjajanan by appearing striking with golden yellow ornaments that depict passion, energy, and glory. The EPA stand was visually appealing, interactive, and educational. Every visitor was greeted with an informative brochure about the EPA Study Program. After reading the brochure, visitors were invited to play fun games and answer light quizzes about the EPA.
This activity became a fun educational tool, especially for visitors unfamiliar with the EPA. They were allowed to read the brochure before answering, creating an inclusive and friendly atmosphere.
🎁 Attractive Souvenirs for Enthusiastic Visitors
One of the main attractions at the EPA stand was the exclusive and attractive souvenirs given away for free to visitors who participated in games and quizzes. These prizes were the target of many visitors, ranging from UGM students and students of other universities to parents and high school students who attended the event. Their enthusiasm could be seen from the crowd around the EPA stand. Many of them enthusiastically played and answered the quiz, hoping to take home the best souvenirs provided.
📸 Photo Exhibition & Inspirational Economic Quotes
The EPA stand provided entertainment and an informative and reflective side through a photo exhibition of EPA Study Program student activities, ranging from academic to community service. In addition, there was a curtain of inspirational quotes from economic figures and theories, which were displayed in a visually attractive and thought-provoking manner. These elements give the EPA its own color, making it easy to learn, play, and explore the world of agricultural economics.
EPA’s participation in Jogjajanan 2025 is also aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the free dissemination of public information and education; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by introducing study and career prospects in agricultural economics. This activity is a tangible synergy between higher education, society, and global development goals.
The success of Jogjajanan 2025 is proof that the combination of education, entertainment, and creativity can create a memorable experience for all. We from the UGM Agricultural Economics Study Program would like to thank all visitors who have enlivened our stand.
🌟See you at Jogjajanan 2027!
