The Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a guest lecture on the Farm Management course on September 20, 2023 with speaker Saraswati Kinara Putri, Cost Control Indmira. This guest lecture carried the Sub Marginal Land Management in Support of Sustainable Agriculture theme, moderated by Sahal Saputra (Agricultural Economics Subject Student).

Critical land is an issue that is currently unfinished homework. Improving marginal land is quite an essential task for all elements of society in Indonesia.

Protecting the environment, social empowerment, and improving the economy are the 3 project pillars that Indmira adheres to in carrying out operational activities. Indmira collaborates with various companies in carrying out revegetation, reclamation, and rehabilitation.

Managing a project is expected to consider the project scope, project schedule, and company resources. The treatment given must adapt to the project location’s regional conditions. These adaptation and resilience efforts are challenges that Indmira must answer in managing marginal land in Indonesia.
