To become an excellent national and international study program for producing highly competitive human resources; developing, and preserving agricultural economics and agribusiness; and applying it to improve the the welfare of the community based on the values of Pancasila.
Mission
Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Agriculture UGM is concerned with efforts to develop education, research, and service that is useful for the needs of the national and international community. In detail, the mission of the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture UGM is as follows:
- Organizing education in the field of agricultural economics and research-based agribusiness to produce graduates who are competent in the application, development, and dissemination of science and technology, and adaptive to environmental changes by utilizing information technology;
- Developing strategic research in sustainable agricultural economics and agribusiness in collaboration with national and international institutions to support the development of science and technology;
- Providing services to the community with a community-oriented program for empowerment and improvement of community welfare; and
- Developing undergraduate programs that are responsive to developments in science and technology, government policies, and the needs of the national and international community.
