The study program is obliged to provide graduates with specific knowledge and skills in the areas of agricultural economics and agribusiness, and a strong personality for a successful future career. The graduate profiles of the study program are as follows:
To achieve the graduate profiles BAEA has formulated a Program Learning Outcome (PLO), which is divided into four qualifications based on the National Standards (SN-DIKTI) No 3 Tahun 2020 (Appendix 1.1.), namely Attitudes (S for Sikap), General Skills (KU for Kemampuan Umum), Knowledge (P for Pengetahuan), and Special Skills (KK, for Kemampuan Khusus). Detailed PLO for BAEA are presented as follows:
Attitude
- PLO-S1: Demonstrate a Pancasila attitude and awareness of the interests of the nation and state.
- PLO-S2: Demonstrate an attitude of honesty, responsibility, confidence, emotional maturity, ethics, and an awareness of being a lifelong learner.
General Skill
- PLO-KU1: able to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking by utilizing information technology to produce solutions in accordance to respective areas of expertise in integrity manner and manifested in scientific documents.
- PLO-KU2: able to develop network, adapt, be creative, be contributive, be supervise, evaluate, and create a decision both in written and oral performs to exhibit individual and group performance in order to implement the science in the society
Knowledge

Agrotropical Learning Center (AGLC)
Bachelor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (BAEA) learns about agriculture in general (on-farm), develops and applies advanced agricultural sciences in the off-farm sector. The BAEA Study Program provides knowledge about farming management and agricultural marketing at the micro-level. In contrast, it provides insights on agricultural economics on a broader scope at the macro level. The Agricultural and Agribusiness Economics Study Program consists of two study concentrations: Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness.
In connection with the implementation of MBKM in the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program, on Thursday, April 29, 2021, socialization was held to students so that MBKM could be carried out more smoothly. On this occasion, the students got information that out of eight forms of learning activities, the study program decided to carry out five activities, namely student exchanges, internships/work practices, research, entrepreneurial activities, and village development.
The socialization was delivered directly by the head of the study program Dr. Any Suryantini and MBKM team representative Abi Pratiwa Siregar, M.Sc.
Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program was selected to be one of the recipients of Curriculum Cooperation Assistance Programs and Implementation of Freedom to Learn – Independence Campus on decree number 1575 / E2 / DM.00.01 / 2021 by Directorate General of Higher Education. Through this grant, it is hoped that there will be an acceleration in the process and implementation of cooperation to make Freedom to Learn – Independence Campus a success.
